The Webster City Lynx girls golf team returned to action on Tuesday, as they hosted a North Central Conference tri-meet at Links Public Golf Course in Webster City. The Lynx were joined by Humboldt and Clear Lake.
Webster City would place 3rd with a team score of 227 (+83), as Clear Lake won the meet with a 192 (+48). The top Lynx golfer was junior Alleyna Dawson, who tied for 7th by shooting a 54 (+18). Junior Ellie Peterson would shoot a 56 (+20) and tie for 11th, Kenley Koop placed 13th and shot a 58 (+22), and sophomore Mylie Keller rounded out scoring by placing 14th and shooting a 59 (+23).
Webster City girls golf returns to action on Friday, when they compete in a North Central Conference tri-meet against Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows at Hampton Country Club, beginning at 4:30 PM.
