The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Tuesday, as they made the trip north on I-35 to compete in a North Central Conference tri-meet at Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Clear Lake. The Lynx were joined by the Clear Lake Lions and Humboldt Wildcats.
In an uber-competitive 3-team field, Webster City was 3rd with a team score of 159 (+15), as Clear Lake won the meet with a 144 (E). Lynx senior Cael Nixon placed 2nd by shooting a 36 (E), as junior Dawson Bertran placed 9th and shot a 39 (+3). Senior Cole Miller and Junior Carter Mickelson rounded out scoring as each shot 42’s (+6) on the day.
Webster City boys golf returns to action on Friday, when they travel to Goldfield to take on Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Hampton-Dumont-CAL in North Central Conference action at Oak Ridge Golf Course at 4:30 PM.
