Roland-Story, South Hamilton girls golf competes in 18-Hole Tournament at West Marshall

The Roland-Story Norsemen and South Hamilton Hawks girls golf teams returned to action on Tuesday, as they competed in an 18-hole tournament at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center, hosted by West Marshall. The Norsemen and Hawks were joined by the host Trojans, as well as BCLUW, Bondurant-Farrar, Colo-NESCO, East Marshall, Grundy Center, Nevada, PCM and South Tama County.

Roland-Story claimed the meet title by shooting a 351 (+63), as junior Brinley Carlson won the individual title with a score of 79 (+7). Senior Brooke Thompson would shoot an 83 (+11) and placed 3rd, Isabel Hoskins tied for 5th with a 92 (+20), while freshman Hadley Carlson tied for 13th and shot a 97 (+25).

South Hamilton would place 9th with a team score of 496 (+208), as junior Arynn Luppes was the top scorer, tying for 23rd with a 106 (+34). Junior Kaylen Trask would shoot a 126 (+54) and finish 36th, as Ava Corbin and Sophie Nibe tied for 39th with a 132 (+60).

Roland-Story girls golf returns to action on Thursday, when they host a tournament at River Bend Golf Course at 1 PM. South Hamilton girls golf returns to action on Monday, when they host Saydel and St. Edmond at Jewell Golf and Country Club at 4:30 PM.
