The Wright County Broncos soccer team returned to action on Monday, as they hosted the Clear Lake Lions in North Central Conference action at Belmond-Klemme High School in Belmond. Wright County entered at 1-4-2, while Clear Lake entered at 3-4-1.
Clear Lake would jump on the Broncos early with a pair of goals in the first half to take a 2-0 halftime lead. The Lions defense continued to stifle the Broncos in the 2nd half, as another goal added more insurance as Clear Lake cruised to a 3-0 victory.
