
The Webster City Lynx girls soccer team returned to action on Monday evening, as they made the trip west to take on the Humboldt Wildcats in North Central Conference action at the Humboldt Soccer Field. Webster City entered at 1-4-1, while Humboldt entered at 2-2-1.
Humboldt would hold control throughout the match, scoring a pair of goals in the first half to lead 2-0 at halftime. The Wildcats added 2 more goals in the 2nd half to come away with a 4-0 victory. Goal scorers for Humboldt included Olivia Harklau, Elsie Hubbell and Zoey Montag, as Webster City stats were not available on Bound as of Tuesday morning.
Webster City girls soccer returns to action on Friday, when they travel to Jefferson to take on the Greene County Rams in non-conference action at Linduska Field in Jefferson at 5:30 PM.
