
The South Hamilton Hawks boys golf team returned to action on Monday, as they competed at the West Marshall 18-Hole Tournament at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center. The Hawks were joined by the host Trojans, as well as BCLUW, Bondurant-Farrar, Boone, Carlisle, Colo-NESCO, East Marshall, Nevada, PCM, Perry and South Tama.
South Hamilton would tie for 6th with BCLUW, ending with a team score of 347 (+59). The top placer for the Hawks was junior Luke Martensen, who tied for 16th with an 86 (+14), as fellow junior Sam Koehnk tied for 24th with an 88 (+16). Michael Carlson placed 33rd with a 92 (+20), while Connor Deppe tied for 35th with a 93 (+21), as junior Brody Harris also shot a 93.
South Hamilton boys golf returns to action on Tuesday, when they travel to Story City to compete in a Roland-Story meet at River Bend Golf Course, beginning at 2 PM.
