The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowboys golf team returned to action on Monday, as they hosted a non-conference meet with the Southeast Valley Jaguars at Oak Ridge Golf Course in Goldfield.
CGD would fall to the Jaguars as the Cowboys would shoot a 186 on the day. Junior Tristan Kakacek had the top score for the Cowboys by shooting a 40 (+4) and placing 3rd. Freshman Teddy Yackle placed 5th with a 46 (+10), fellow freshman Jacob Ruba tied for 8th with a 50 (+14), as senior Caleb Seaba also tied for 8th by shooting a 50 (+14).
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys golf returns to action on Tuesday, when they host Iowa Falls-Alden in North Central Conference action at Clarmond Country Club north of Clarion at 4:30 PM.
