The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Friday, as they competed at the Hal Rossow Invitational at Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panora. The Lynx were joined by the hosts Panorama, as well as ACGC, Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Interstate 35, West Central Valley and Woodward-Granger.
Webster City would place 2nd with a team score of 349 (+61), as their top placer was senior Cael Nixon, who placed 3rd with an 83 (+11). Junior Dawson Bertran tied for 9th with an 88 (+16), while sophomore Coyce Bertran and Carter Mickelson each shot 89’s (+17) to round out scoring.
Webster City boys golf returns to action on Monday, when they compete at the Bill Chambers Invitational at Spencer Golf and Country Club.
