This nature-based program provides a hands-on, experiential learning opportunity where families can discover more about deer behavior, antler growth cycles, and local wildlife habitats. Along the way, the interactive scavenger hunt for antlers brings added excitement to the outdoor adventure.
This family-friendly event is perfect for curious minds of all ages and skill levels. The programming is also part of the Junior Naturalist program offered through Hamilton County Conservation. Area youth are welcome to participate in the program by participating in a number of guided program and activities on their own to earn recognition as a Junior Naturalist, along with a patch. The Junior Naturalist program is free to participate.
Whether you’re a seasoned nature lover or just looking for a fun spring activity, the Golden Deer Antler Hunt is a great way to explore the outdoors and learn something new.
Space is limited to the first 60 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
