Webster City Community School Board approves a near $39 million Fiscal Year budget Monday evening.

A budget of nearly $39 million for the Webster City Community School District for the Fiscal Year 2026 was approved by the school board Monday evening. The public hearing for the budget was held with no objections received. The budget for the Webster City school district is $38,999,136 for the 2026 fiscal year beginning this July 1st.  The levy for the next fiscal year will be at $12.79 per $1000 per taxable valuation of property in the Webster City school district. The Northeast Hamilton school levy will be at $11.09 per thousand.  The school budget makes up 30 percent of their overall property tax bill for Webster City property owners.

In other matters, the Webster City school board accepted a monetary donation of $2000 towards the Webster City girls and boys golf program for the season. The board approved fundraising requests for the Webster City and Northeast Hamilton music departments for their upcoming concerts. The setting of school depositories will be made at their next board meeting.

This is an agreement to provide Teacher Education students with Clinical Experience Placement.

Donovan Group Agreement
The Donovan Group Iowa LLC (DGI) will provide the Webster City Community School District with communications and engagement-related services.

ICCC 28E Agreement
This is an agreement for a shared Counselor position.

The Webster City School Board congratulated  Braxton Flattery of Webster City High School for winning the Upper Midwest  Emmy Student Production Award for his High School Sports Program at WCTV. The award was presented last weekend during a ceremony in the Twin Cities.
