
A meeting of the Stratford City Council will be this Monday evening, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stratford City Hall. The agenda highlights include considering a request from Tyla Jenson to have chickens on her property, approve the Mobile Collect Event thru the North Central Iowa Regional Solid Waste Agency, consider a noise permit from Becky Dakin for Saturday, May 17th in the city park of Stratford and to review and consider the approval of the Stratford City Tree Removal Plan. A road maintenance plan for Stratford will be reviewed by the city council. In other matters, the Stratford City Council will consider the approval of a quote for $17,600 for curb and gutter work at the corners of Milton Street and Teneyck Avenue and at Tennyson Avenue and Teneyck Avenue for ADA sidewalk compliance and consider changing the date of the June city council meeting date from June 9th to June 16,2025. A nuisance abatement procedure will be discussed by the council. The increase in wages for the Stratford pool staff will be presented to the council for review and approval plus other matters at Monday’s council meeting.
