
The Wright County Broncos boys soccer team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted the Humboldt Wildcats in North Central Conference action at Belmond-Klemme High School. Wright County entered at 1-1-2, while Humboldt entered at 1-0.
Thursday’s game would belong to Humboldt senior Carter Westre, who registered a hat trick in the match for the Wildcats as they used a strong first half to come away with a 4-1 victory. Junior Byron Tux Coc had the lone Wright County goal in the 1st half, as senior goalkeeper Jose Alfaro had 10 saves against 4 allows.
Wright County soccer returns to action on Monday, when they travel to Webster City to take on the Lynx in North Central Conference action at 5:30 PM.
