The Roland-Story Norsemen girls golf team returned to action on Thursday, as they competed in a 9-hole tournament at Hill Golf Course in Grand Junction, hosted by Greene County. The Norsemen were joined by the host Rams, as well as Des Moines Christian, Gilbert and Perry.
Roland-Story would place 3rd in the tournament with a team score of 179, as Gilbert won with a 168, while DMC was 2nd with a 174. Junior Brinley Carlson had the top score with a 42 (+6), while Brooke Thompson had a 43 (+7). Freshman Hadley Carlson and senior Eva Corcoran rounded out the lineup as each shot a 47 (+11).
Roland-Story girls golf returns to action on Tuesday, when they compete in the BCLUW Comet Co-Ed Invite at the Conrad Golf Course at 4:15 PM.
