The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls golf team returned to action on Thursday afternoon, as they hosted the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Cardinals in non-conference action at Oak Ridge Golf Course in Goldfield.
CGD would fall to GHV by a score of 195-238, as sophomore Blair Askelsen had the top score with a 56 (+20), while senior Maddie Askvig shot a 59 (+23). Junior Claire Kirstein shot a 60 (+24), while senior Jordyce Duncalf rounded out scoring with a 61 (+25).
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls golf returns to action on Tuesday, when they host a tri-meet with South Hamilton and Eagle Grove at Oak Ridge Golf Course at 4 PM.
