The Webster City Lynx girls golf team opened their 2025 season on Tuesday afternoon, as they hosted the Cougars of Manson-Northwest Webster for a non-conference dual meet at Links Public Golf Course in Webster City.
Webster City would take down the Cougars by a score of 220 to 251, as Ellie Peterson was the Lynx top scorer, shooting a 51 (+15). Alleyna Dawson and Kenley Koop would both shoot 53’s (+17), while freshman Abigail Heckert shot a 63 (+27) to round out varsity scoring.
Webster City girls golf returns to action on April 22nd, when they host Clear Lake and Humboldt for a North Central Conference tri-meet at Links Public Golf Course in Webster City.
