
The Webster City Lynx boys tennis team returned to action on Tuesday, as they made the trip north on I-35 to take on the Clear Lake Lions in North Central Conference action Clear Lake High School. The Lynx and Lions both entered Tuesday with 1-0 records.
Clear Lake would dominate from the outset, as Hank Christeson lost in 2 sets (6-0, 6-0), before Nathan Wardell also lost in 2 sets (6-2,6-1) in position 2. Jesse Toftee would lose in 2 sets (6-1, 6-0) before James Elliott and Zayden Card were blanked in Position 4 and Position 5.
The Lions would dominate in doubles as well to come away with a 9-0 shutout victory.
