The Iowa State Patrol investigated a one vehicle accident on 240th Street southwest of Webster City near the airport at midafternoon last Wednesday afternoon. Details of the accident were released Friday morning. Reportedly a westbound 2021 Chevrolet Blazer SUV operated by Mary Bentley of Duncombe veered left of the roadway where it struck an embankment and hit the ditch on the other side. The Bentley SUV ended up facing south bound in the south ditch on 240th Street. Bentley was taken by EMS ambulance to Van Diest Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The SUV was totaled in the crash. Iowa State Patrol trooper Dylan Hoelscher investigated the accident.
