There was a report of two pickup trucks damaged in an accident at the intersection of Highway 169 and 250th Street in rural Webster County south of Fort Dodge.at mid afternoon last Saturday. Thie Iowa State Patrol reported a westbound 2018 model Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Riley Bosch of Dayton apparently failed to obey stop sign on 250th Street. He accelerated to avoid an uninvolved vehicle. A 2020 Ford F15 pickup driven by Janae Meyer of Whittemore accidentally clipped the rear of the Bosch truck . The road was snow covered at the time of accident on Saturday. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Bosch truck was estimated at $8000 with the damage to the Meyer pickup at $10,000. Investigating Iowa State Trooper Wes Niles cited Riley Bosch with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign and Yield the Right of Way.
