President’s Day is this Monday,February 17th. It’s a federal holiday. In Webster City, the Hamilton County Courthouse and all county offices will be closed for the day. The Farm Service Agency office will be closed.There will be no city or rural delivery of mail from Webster City and area post offices as they will be closed for the day. The Webster City Post Office will be open for box holders but the customer service window will be closed Monday. If you need a postage stamp, you may purchase one at the convenience and grocery stores. Mail service will resume on Tuesday,February 18th. All Webster City financial institutions will be closed on Monday for President’s Day.The Webster City Municipal Building will be open for business from 8:00 until 5:00. There will also be a Webster City city council meeting at 6:00 in the city council chambers.
