A former Eagle Grove Police Officer submitted a written plea of not guilty this week in Wright County District Court in Clarion. 27-year-old Colt Allan Richardson is charged with dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to a minor and with sexual exploitation of a minor. Arraignment for Richardson was scheduled for February 14th. Richardson also waived his right to a speedy trial. The jury trial is set to begin May 22nd at 8:30 in Wright County District Court. If he is convicted of the sexual exploitation of a minor charge, he could be sentenced for up to 5 years in prison.
