A meeting of the Stanhope City Council will be held Tuesday evening, February 18th at the Stanhope Community Center at 6:00 p.m. The council will meet with Shelly Codner with Area 2 Iowa Waste and with Stanhope council member Jill Haman on wins and recognitions. There will be a look at the installation of caution and slow down signs on Main Street in Stanhope where the road meats the gravel coming into town,a discussion of properties at 400 and 410 Parker Street and a look at the budget of Stanhope for the 2025-26 fiscal year plus other matters.
