The Iowa State Patrol investigated an accident involving a truck and snowplow at the northbound 154 mile marker of Interstate 35 south of Dows shortly before 9:30 Wednesday morning. Reportedly a northbound 2021 International snowplow pulling a trailer and operated by Clinton Sparks of Webster City. The Sparks vehicle was accidentally struck in the left rear corner of the trailer by a northbound 2018 model Ford F150 truck driven by Rickey Davis of Jones,Oklahoma. Yesterday’s snowy weather may have played a factor in Wednesday’s accident. There were no injuries reported. The damage to the Davis truck was estimated at $10,000 with the damage to the Sparks snowplow estimated at $5000. Investigating State Patrol trooper Bennett Eaton charged Rickey Davis with Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle,
