A public hearing on the 2025-26 school calendar for the South Hamilton Community School District will be a part of this Monday evening’s board meeting. The meeting time is set for 6:00 in the Junior/Senior High School board room in Jewell. The approval of the calendar will be considered by the board followed by assistance animals at the school. The board will take a look at field fencing and a scoreboard for the football and track programs, appoint a college and career transition counselor, appoint a representative to the Hamilton County Conference Board and have the first reading of various board policies.. There will be personnel matters , resignations and hiring recommendations. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm will present her report on current activities in the district plus other matters.
