The Clarion Goldfield Dows School District announced Thursday the appointment of Adam Vorrie as the new principal of its High School beginning July 1,2025. Vorrie emerged as the top candidate based on feedback from staff, teachers, parents, administrators during the formal interviews held Wednesday,February 5th. Vorrie brings a wealth of experience as an educator, mentor and community leader. A dedicatred teacher and teacher mentor coordinator at Clarion Goldfield Dows Middle School, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, academic excellence, and collaborative growth. Vorrie will transition into the role of principal alongside current principal Paul Hansch. Superintendent Joe Nelson expressed enthusiasm for the appointment of Vorrie in his new role beginning this summer.
