KQWC Radio learned on Friday afternoon that Webster City baseball coach Adison Kehoe has received a full suspension for the 2025 postseason from the IHSAA, due to alleged impermissible off-season instruction, according to multiple sources.

The allegations stem from videos posted on the Webster City Baseball Program’s X page, detailing Webster City’s off-season workouts leading up to the 2025 season, and Kehoe’s appearances in said videos.

IHSAA guidelines state that coaches may not participate in off-season hitting drills until March 5th and contact this time of year is limited to pitching and catching.

Kehoe, a Webster City alum, has been head coach since 2017 and has led the Lynx to 5 conference titles since his hiring. Webster City finished with a record of 17-14 in 2024.
