The Eagle Grove Eagles basketball team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they made the trip to far northern Iowa to take on the Lake Mills Bulldogs in Top of Iowa West action at Lake Mills High School. Eagle Grove’s girls entered at 1-15, while Eagle Grove’s boys entered at 6-10.
Lake Mills’s girls would take command right off the rip on Tuesday, leading 13-0 after the first quarter and extending the lead to 34-13 at halftime. After a dominant 3rd quarter, Eagle Grove’s offense awoke in the 4th quarter, but Lake Mills would come away with a 56-31 victory.

Eagle Grove’s boys followed looking to snap their 5-game skid, but couldn’t muster enough stops down the stretch in a comeback bid against the Bulldogs in a 68-57 defeat.
