The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowboys and Eagle Grove Eagles wrestling teams returned to action on Tuesday night, as they faced off with one another in non-conference action at Eagle Grove Elementary School.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows would win 7 of the 9 bouts that were wrestled on Tuesday night, picking up pinfall wins from Paxton Redenius (113), Ryan Hartwig (126), Adrian Phetxoumphone (138), Ryland Morgan (175), Charlie Campbell (190) and JT Kelso (285), while also getting a tech fall from Cole Wibholm (106).
Eagle Grove’s 2 wins would come from a Dylan Terwilliger tech fall over Angel Cortes at 120, while Hayden Schafer would pin Caden Hauenstein at 157.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows wrestling returns to action on Tuesday, when they travel to Humboldt to compete in their Class 2A Regional Dual beginning at 6 PM. Eagle Grove wrestling returns to action on Saturday, when they compete in the Charger Invitational in Guthrie Center at 9:30 AM.
