Deer processing and Jerky Making comes to the Hamilton County Conservation Office this Saturday morning, January 18th.

If you have wondered how to make deer jerky or process deer meat, the Hamilton County Conservation Office invites you a program this Saturday,January 18th at the office in Briggs Woods Park at 249 Briggs Woods Trail south of Webster City. It will run from 10:00 until 12 noon. This program will offer how to participate in meat cutting, grinding, packaging, mixing sausage, mixing jerky and using a jerky gun. There will be the use on smokers, dehydrators,ovens, and grills to prepare you venison. Saturday’s program is limited to the first 50 people who register online.
