The first meeting of 2025 for the Jewell City Council is set for 7:00 this (Monday) evening at the Jewell City Hall. There will be a report from the Jewell Public Works Department. A resolution for the Anderson Lake Tax Exemption Request will be reviewed. The Jewell Fire and Rescue will present their run review report for 2024 at the meeting. Appointments will be made to the Hamilton County Emergency Management Commission, the Hamilton County 911 Board, the Hamilton County Solid Waste Commission and to the EJS Police Board.
In other matters, the Jewell City Council will make a monetary donation of $986.95 to the Jewell Historical Museum and adopt various city policies and procedures plus other matters that may before the council.
