The South Hamilton Hawks wrestling team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they hosted a home quad meet at South Hamilton High School in Jewell. The Hawks welcomed in non-conference foes in East Sac County, Emmetsburg and Southeast Valley.
South Hamilton opened with a 59-12 loss to Emmetsburg, as the only Hawk wins were by forfeit, with Hagen Klein winning at 113 and Holden Moore winning at 126. The Hawks followed with a 51-15 loss to Southeast Valley, with Parker Stuck winning by forfeit at 190, Brody Harris winning a 6-1 decision at 215 and Hagen Klein winning by fall at 113.
The Hawks would end their night losing a tight 31-30 match to East Sac County, which would come down to criteria. Brody Harris won by fall at 215, Hagen Klein won by forfeit at 113, Holden Moore won by fall at 132, Trace Junker won by forfeit at 157, and Parker Stuck won by fall at 190.
South Hamilton wrestling returns to action on Thursday night, when they host Roland-Story and Saydel in Heart of Iowa Conference tri-dual beginning at 6 PM and will be broadcast on 95.7 KQWC or streaming online at kqradio.com.
