Roland-Story wrestling swept in HOIAC tri dual at Greene County

The Roland-Story Norsemen wrestling team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the trip west to Jefferson to take on the Greene County Rams and the West Marshall Trojans in Heart of Iowa Conference action at Greene County High School.

Roland-Story would fall to Greene County by a score of 45-34 to open the night. The Norsemen would pick up a pinfall win from Chance Georgius at 190 lbs, while Tyler Lamber (165) won by major decision, and Caiden Latch (126), Brady Long (132), Kale Kadolph (157) and Robbie Larsen (285) won by forfeit.

The Norsemen would then fall to West Marshall by a score of 54-26. The Norsemen picked up pinfall wins from Caiden Latch (126), Blake Loof (138) and Wes Hansen (215), while Brady Long (132) won by tech fall and Chance Georgius (190) won by decision.

Roland-Story wrestling returns to action on Saturday at the Saydel Invitational at Saydel High School.
