The Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship Fund has been established to honor the legacy of Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley, a respected educator known for her commitment to the students at Webster City High School. Open to all graduating seniors from Webster City High School, this scholarship will be given annually to provide a one-time award of $7,500 to assist each annual recipient in their post-secondary educational pursuits.
Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley’s career was marked by her dedication to education and her passion for her students’ success. As a business education teacher/office education coordinator at Webster City High School for 27 years and later as a Consultant for Career and Technical Education with the Area Education Agency (AEA 267). Beverly positively impacted countless lives until her retirement in 2009. Even in retirement, she remained connected with her students, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Applications for the Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship will be available through the Webster City High School Guidance Office.

Charitable gifts, including stock or IRA rollovers, are accepted, and all donations are tax-deductible, with donors eligible for a 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit.
