The South Hamilton Hawks volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the trip south and west to take on the Greene County Rams in Heart of Iowa Conference action at Greene County High School in Jefferson. South Hamilton entered at 7-22, while Greene County entered at 10-12.
Greene County would jump ahead early, holding the Hawks off for a 25-13 set 1 win. South Hamilton would battle in set 2, but a late run by Rams clinched a 25-16 win, before Greene County dominated set 3 25-10 to clinch a 3-0 sweep.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning, South Hamilton volleyball returns to action next Thursday, when they host Perry in Heart of Iowa Conference action at 6:30 PM.
