The Roland-Story Norsemen volleyball team returned to action on Monday night, as they hosted their home tournament at Roland-Story High School in Story City. The Norsemen welcomed in Gilbert, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Marshalltown and South Hardin.
Roland-Story opened their tournament against Marshalltown and came away with a 2-0 (21-13, 21-19), before sweeping Hampton-Dumont-CAL by a 2-0 (21-10, 21-9). The Norsemen would fall to (2A) #4 South Hardin by a 2-0 (18-21, 19-21), before bouncing back and sweeping Gilbert 2-0 (21-16, 21-10).
Roland-Story improved to 18-2 on the season after the tournament, the Norsemen return to action on Thursday, when they host West Marshall in Heart of Iowa Conference action at Roland-Story High School.
