A motorcycle accident last Monday evening at 6:37 p..m. in Webster County was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol with details releaed this morning. The accident happend at the north entrance to Dolliver State Park near Burnside. Reportedly a 2008 model Kawazaki motorcycle operated by Ashtyn L. Price of Webster City was attempting to negotiate the left curve at the north entrance to Dolliver Park. The Park motrocycle was traveling south when hit an area of gravel on the curve. The motorcycle then slid on its side throwing Price with his head hitting the asphalt. The accident report stated that Price was wearing a helmet. There was an estimated $1000 in damages. Price was taken by ambulance to Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge for treatment. Iowa State Patrol trooper Robert Karrick investigated the accident.
