The first meeting of September for the Webster City City Council will be this Tuesday evening, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. The meeting is delayed one day due to Monday’s Labor Day holiday. The agenda includes the signing of a proclamation for Doodlebug Days set for September 9 through 14th by Mayor John Hawkins. A public hearing for the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the furnishing of 69kV Control Panels for the Reisner Substation will be held at 6:05 Tuesday evening. The recommendations from the Webster City Hotel/Motel Tax Board Chaiperson for grant applications will be reviewed for approval. The city council will review a resolution accepting and executing Easements in connection with the 2022 Electrical Underground Conversion Project. There will be a discussion on additional funding for the sidewalk installation on the Fair Meadow Drive Project, Phase 1 and authorizing the City Manager to execute the documents not to exceed $36,000. A motion to approve a six-month temporary easement between Fifth Generation Investments LLC ( Bomgaars) and the City of Webster City as legally described in Easement Conveyance for the purpose of removing trees, shrubs or other vegetation, along with grading, sloping, shaping and seeding said portion of the Owner’s property plus other matters before the council
