There will be a meeting of the Jewell City Council this Monday evening,August 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. Monday’s meeting will include the appointment of two new member on the Jewell Fire and Rescue Department, set a date change for the Clear Lake Sailors 5K event, make an appointment of a vacant city council seat and set the date for a special election of the council vacancy. In other matters, the Jewell City Council will discuss the city sidewalk by 614 Main Street, Jewell Swimming Pool case statement approval, consider crossing lines and no parking lines for the South Hamilton School and consider the possibility of live streaming city council meetings plus other matters before the council.
