Texas man killed in one vehicle crash in Hardin County Thursday night.

The Iowa State Patrol investigated a one vehicle accident near Hubbard in rural Hardin County that claimed the life of the driver at 9:54 p.m. last (Thursday) night. The accident happened at U.S. Highway 65 and J Avenue near Hubbard. Reportedly a 2007 model Ford Explorer driven by 30-year-old Pedro Daniel Limon of Eagle Pass, Texas was traveling south on Highway 65 while negotiating a curve at J Avenue due to high speed. The Limon pickup lost control, entering the east ditch and rolled several times. The vehicle came to rest on its top. Limon was pronounced at the accident scene. The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol with assistance by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and Hubbard Fire and EMS Departments.
