The South Hamilton Hawks softball team returned to action on Monday night, as they made the trip south to take on the (3A) #10 PCM Mustangs in Heart of Iowa Conference action at PCM High School in Monroe. South Hamilton entered at 12-13, while PCM entered at 17-3.
After a scoreless 1st, PCM put up a run in the 2nd to take a 1-0 lead. South Hamilton would answer with a run in the 4th to tie the game at 1-1, but PCM responded in the 5th with 2 runs in the frame to take a 3-1 lead, which would go on to be the final.
South Hamilton stats were not available on Bound as of Tuesday morning. The Hawks return to action on Tuesday, when they host rivals Roland-Story in Heart of Iowa Conference action at South Hamilton High School at 7:30 PM.
