The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows softball team returned to action on Wednesday night, as they made the trip to Hardin County to take on the Cadets of Iowa Falls-Alden in North Central Conference action at Iowa Falls-Alden High School. CGD entered at 0-12, while Iowa Falls-Alden entered at 3-6.

CGD put up another run in the 2nd to make it 5-2, but 5 IF-A runs in the 4th, and 2 runs in the 5th brought an end to the game with a 12-2 Cadet win.
