The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows baseball team opened their 2024 season on Tuesday night, as they made the trip into Story County to take on the Royals of Colo-NESCO at Duane Newton Field in Zearing.
Colo-NESCO would get off to the fast start, putting up 3 runs in the bottom of the first of CGD starter Nick Sission, before putting up a single run in each of the next 2 frames to lead 5-0.
