The Webster City Lynx boys soccer team returned to action on Friday night, as they made the trip west on old Highway 20 to Fort Dodge to take on the Dodgers in non-conference action at Dodger Stadium.
Webster City would get back on the winning track following their 2-1 loss to Humboldt on Thursday, as the Lynx put together 2 first half goals to lead 2-0 at halftime. The flood gates would open in the 2nd half as the Lynx poured in 4 goals to come away with a 6-0 win. Eddy Fuentes would record another hat trick with 3 goals on the night, while other goal scorers would be junior Eric Torres, senior Eduardo Perez and junior Conner Peck.
Webster City concludes the regular season with a record of 13-1, and will face the winner of Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Benton Community in their Class 2A Substate Semifinal on Monday, May 20th at Lynx Field.
