A hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2025 budget for the Webster City Community School District will be just one of the agenda items when the Webster City school board meets this Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the school administration office at 820 Des Moines Street. The board will look at contractual matters, consider the 2023 school audit, depositories and the fiscal year 2025 school budget. A report by Webster City school superintendent Matt Berninghaus will be presented on what is happening in the school district. The date and time for the public hearing on the amended school budget for the 2024 fiscal year will be set. The Webster City school board will consider monetary donations to the school district, review fund raising requests and open enrollment requests. There will be a closed session of the Webster City school board this Monday for an evaluation of the superintendent.
