The Stratford City Council meets this Monday evening,April 8 for its monthly meeting in the city hall council chambers at 7:00 p.m. The council will have a public hearing on the 2024 fiscal year budget amendment with a resolution approving the amended budget. A Stratford Fire and Rescue application for membership for Kit Paper, Brooke Trammel and Brayden Evans will be considered. A review and consider the approval of the Stratford Tree Plan for the 2024 calendar year will be reviewed. In other matters, the Stratford city council will consider the approval of yellow trashman bags for extra garbage and a quote from The Pavement Doctor not to exceed $3000. A review and approve the water utility emergency response plan will be on the agenda for the city council. There will also be a discussion on a cost estimate for the United Cooperative Project. A review and approve Gordon Flesch quote for upgrading the city hall copy machine plus other matters before the council.
