The Roland-Story Norsemen wrestling team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made a short trip west on Highway 30 to take on the Ogden Bulldogs, as well as the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets and Nevada Cubs in a non-conference quad dual at Ogden High School.
Roland-Story opened the night with a 45-30 win over Iowa Falls-Alden, as the Norsemen picked up pin wins from Hayden Eslick (120), Logan Powers (165) and Hesston Johnson (175). Norsemen wrestlers that won by decision included Ben Mazyck (150), Jaxson Kadolph (215) and Aaron Peyton (285), while Konnor Blume (106), Caiden Latch (113) and Kade Blume (138) won via forfeit.
The Norsemen then moved on to face Nevada for the 2nd time this season, as Roland-Story picked up a 48-33 win. The Norsemen picked up pins from Blake Loof (126), Logan Powers (165), Hesston Johnson (175), Hunter Hardin (190), Jaxon Kadolph (215) and Aaron Peyton (285). Roland-Story would also pick up forfeit wins from Caiden Latch (113) and Kade Blume (138).
Ogden would be the final opponent of the night for the Norsemen, as they took down the host Bulldogs 48-27. Roland-Story picked up pin wins from Caiden Latch (113), Kade Blume (138), Logan Powers (165), Hesston Johnson (175) and Aaron Peyton, while Hayden Eslick (120), Blake Loof (126) and Jaxson Kadolph (215) all won via forfeit.
Roland-Story wrestling returns to action on Saturday, when they host the Norsemen Dual Tournament at Roland-Story High School.
