Webster City city council to meet Monday evening, November 6 at 6:00 p.m.

The Webster City city council this Monday evening will formally accept the resignation of Daniel Ortiz Hernandez as city manager. The resignation will take effect on January 18,2024. Ortiz Hernandez has accepted a new position with the city of Ennis,Texas. The council memebers will then discuss process for filling the city manager vacancy.
A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Kwik Star addressing the Development Concerns with the city of Webster City for the proposed development site on Fair Avenue.
Another resolution will be considered by the Webster City city council authorizing the mayor to sign and excecute an amendment with DGR Engineering,Incorporated for professional engineering services associated with the Reisner Substation. The council will authorize the mayor to sign and execute change orders number 1 through 4 with Peterson Construction of Webster City for the Wilson Brewer Courthouse Structural Improvement Project. The 28-E agreement between the city of Webster City and with Hamilton County to end the bike sharing program with Koloni,Incorporated will be discussed.
In other matters at Monday’s council meeting they will approve the city street financial and urban renewal reports. There will be a discussion on the possible direction of the City Green Waste Site plus other matters on the agenda. The Webster City city council will meet in a closed session to discuss matters in litigation or where litigation is imminent and to discuss the purchase and or sale of real estate in the city.
Monday’s Webster City city council meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. The meeting will be streamed through the city’s Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system.
