A benefit for the new South Hamilton Area Pool and Exercise center in Jewell was held Sunday afternoon at the Randall Gymnasium. This was the initail fundraiser for the Jewell swimming pool project. The pool facility was constructed nearly 60 years ago in 1964. The estimated project is at 4 million dollars. Over 400 people attended the afternoon activity with events ranging from hay rides to a petting zoo to kids games. Donations toward the Jewell pool project can be made by making an online visit to the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation website.
