Over the past few months, there have been some generous monetary contributions by Webster City businesses,industries and individuals toward the East Twin Park Splash Pad project. When the Webster City city council meets this Monday evening, they will consider a resolution authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation to seek bids for materials associated with the work on the Splash Pad, authorizing the Splash Pad Committee to select the best proposal for the work and authorizing the mayor to sign and execute the purchase order for it. The Webster City city council will have a public hearing on the proposal to dispose the city owned right of way on Third Street located west of Fair Avenue. This is for the proposed Kwik Star store.
The date of Monday,November 20 at 6:05 p.m. will be set for a public hearing for the proposed form of contract, the estimate of cost for construction of the Fair Meadow Drive Reconstruction Project by the city council.
Other highlights on Monday’s Webster City city council agenda includes the approval of a resolution authorizing the local street department superintendent to make CIPP line repairs to the sanitary sewer collections system by Hydro-Klean with the project not to exceed $300,000 and to execute a contract with DENCO highway construction for crack sealing work on city streets.
The Webster City city council will consider a resolution authorizing the city manager to issue a request to issue a request for a quote for the 69V Transmission Line Relocation Project,consider a resolution accepting and executing an easement with Shiva Real Estate,LLC for the new wastewater treatment plant project and discuss and make a motion on the Van Diest Supply Water Service Request plus other matters.
The Webster City city council meeting begins at 6:00 in the council chambers. Monday’s meeting will be streamed live on the Webster City Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system.
