The South Hamilton Hawks volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted the West Marshall Trojans in Heart of Iowa Conference action at South Hamilton High School in Jewell. The Hawks came in with a record of 10-14 and 2-1 in the HOIC, while West Marshall entered at 12-17 and 1-2 in the HOIC.
West Marshall and South Hamilton would duke it out in the first set, as the Trojans managed to pull away late for 25-18 win. The 2nd set would be closer still, as the Hawks and Trojans went down to the wire, but West Marshall would pull out a 25-21 win to go up 2-0. South Hamilton would run out of steam in set 3 as West Marshall picked up a 25-8 win and 3-0 sweep.
Stats were not entered in Bound at the time of release, South Hamilton returns to action on Monday, when they compete in a quad at Ogden High School.
