The Roland-Story Norsemen volleyball team returned action on Monday night, as they hosted their annual home tournament at Roland-Story High School in Story City. The Norsemen welcomed in Carroll Kuemper, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Marshalltown and South Hardin.
Roland-Story would open their evening with a win over HD-CAL 2-0 (21-16, 21-16), before losing to 2A-rated Carroll Kuemper 2-0 (12-21, 19-21). The Norsemen would follow up with another 2A-rated foe in the South Hardin Tigers, where they would lose 2-0 (19-21, 15-21), before Roland-Story capped their day with a win over Marshalltown 2-1 (21-14, 17-21, 15-11).
The Norsemen improved to 13-8 on the season and return to action on Thursday night, when they host Saydel at Roland-Story High School.
